About The Book

Discover the story of Little Bear's garden adventure and the important lessons he learns about bravery and fear.

The Story

"I'm afraid of nothing, I'm a big little bear" follows the adventure of Little Bear, a young cub who wants to prove he's brave enough to play outside on his own.

When Little Bear asks his father for permission to play outside, he promises not to go beyond the little red gate at the garden's edge. But when his green ball rolls through a hole in the wall, Little Bear's adventure truly begins.

As he searches for his ball, Little Bear meets several woodland creatures: a friendly Mr. Frog by the pond, Miss Rabbit who warns him about an approaching storm, and a mysterious Mr. Snake who tries to lure him deeper into the woods.

When the storm comes, Little Bear discovers that it's okay to be scared sometimes. His father finds him and reveals that Little Bear never actually left the gardenโ€”his big adventure happened in a small space, and his imagined forest was just the familiar garden seen through the eyes of adventure.
